Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT) has recently unveiled the Michaca Automatic, an innovative addition to their Premium Line, exclusively made in the USA. The automatic folding knife features a scale release lock and has been judiciously crafted by acclaimed knifemaker Philip Booth.
The Michaca aligns with Booth’s artisanal ethos, drawing inspiration from his hometown of Ithaca, Michigan—for which the name ‘Michaca’ is a portmanteau. He shares a special bond with this new creation, stating, “I love this mechanism because it’s hidden and I like old school lock-back design, fires perfectly every time and it’s fun. Truly a one-handed working knife.”
