[ICAST 2023] Best of Fishing Tools – Bubba Pro Series Smart Fish Scale

Winner of the Cutlery, Hand Plies or Tools category of the ICAST 2023 New Product Showcase, the Bubba Pro Series Smart Fish Scale is their new premium smart fish scale. Built for both recreational and competition anglers, the Bubba Pro Series Smart Fish Scale offers 60 lbs of weight capacity along with a best-in-class accuracy of +/- 0.3%. All of this is built on Bubba’s iconic non-slip grip so you don’t drop the scale and fish with wet hands. The scale features three different weight modes, along with providing livewell management for up to eight fish stored on the device. This lets you compete with friends on one device as well as offering smart culling with automatic total bag weights. The tournament mode can store up to eight total fish weights, while the competitive mode lets you store bag weights for up to four anglers. The last mode is rally mode which can store up to 99 fish weights with your total bag weight when you’re out on the water solo.

These smart scales are powered by either a rechargeable lithium battery or alkaline AA batteries, the scale features a bright screen that can easily display fish weights in color and also has a mobile app that can connect with Bluetooth to the scale. Each purchase comes with a 2-year pro app membership. The Smart scale will be available in quarter three of this year and have an MSRP of $229.99.
