POTD: Minnesota Whitetail Buck in Hot Pursuit in the Fall Rut
Adam Scepaniak 11.07.22
Welcome to today’s Photo of the Day! In this Photo of the Day (POTD), we have a dandy of a 9-Point Minnesota Whitetail Buck that was successfully harvested on their state’s Minnesota Firearms Deer Opener. Minnesota is unique because their state is divided in half where one 1/2 is a rifle zone (Northern half) and the other 1/2 is a shotgun zone (Southern half). This Minnesota Whitetail Buck came in while following and sniffing after 2 does; clearly he was in the rut. One 50-yard well-placed shot is all it took for a humane harvest of this majestic buck.
