Hornady’s NEW Security Ammo Cabinets – More Thoughtful Storage

Ask anyone who shoots regularly nowadays and they will tell you how much it hurts to buy ammo nowadays. At this point many consider it to be “an investment in precious metals” So considering how much ammo costs nowadays and how hard it’s to come by at times, it makes sense to consider securing it behind locked doors in your home. That’s where Hornady Security is proud to announce their new Ammo Cabinets.
These new Ammo Cabinets are specialty security containers made for organizing and safeguarding your ammo. The cabinets are made using an all-metal construction with a barrel-key lock for enhanced security. They are tamper-resistant and made for restricting access to like reloading tools and components, hunting and shooting gear, and anything else that requires secure storage.
The cabinet is designed for an optimized ammo storage experience, featuring three adjustable shelves that are capable of holding 100 pounds each. Each shelf has a surface area of 12” x 18” surfaces in the 40-inch-tall container. Three plastic ammo cans (3 included) will fit perfectly, and the cabinet comes with shelf/floor mats to protect the contents in storage.
The Ammo Cabinet’s dimensions work well to either be a stand-alone unit or as a base for a workbench. With the modular construction of the Square-Lok walls, cabinets can be conveniently stacked and bolted together. This construction also allows for airflow for temperature and humidity control for proper ammo storage. The cabinet also comes with battery-operated motion light that conveniently illuminates the cabinet when the door opens. The doors also can be switched to open from either side to match what the end user prefers.
