Safari Club International Fights For Hunting and Wildlife Conservation

While most Americans are somewhat aware of the constant back and forth battle that goes on for the 2nd Amendment, few Americans realize that a far less controversial initiative often also comes under attack from various sources. The government often listens to appeals to emotion that ban hunters from trophy hunting, and other practices which often generate revenue for conservancy efforts and also pay the salaries of experts in the field who are dedicated to furthering not just American wildlife conservancy, but also the hunting community at large. Safari Club International in a recent press release stated that they are doubling down their efforts to fight against threats to hunting access and conservation that continue to pop up and prevail not just in the United States, but across the globe.
Safari Club International Fights For Hunting and Wildlife Conservation
“In the United States, both hunting and conservation are threatened at the federal and state levels,” said W. Laird Hamberlin, CEO of SCI. “And SCI is in the unique position as the only hunting rights organization with a Washington, D.C.-based international advocacy team. We take such threats very seriously and are committed to representing hunting access here and abroad.”
Safari Club International (SCI) is a “First For Hunters” organization aimed at keeping the tradition and love for hunting alive in this world and they are constantly fighting to further initiatives that will help out hunters and conservationists in both the United States and the rest of the world. SCI has often faced opposition from State, and Federal governments as well as Big Tech censorship which directly targets hunting and conservation organizations via Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms which stigmatize the practice of hunting. In response, SCI has launched a petition against this censorship and is dedicated to speaking out on behalf of hunters and conservationists worldwide to help us stand up to this type of censorship.
