These days we are lucky enough to have technology that continues to push the limits of both firearms and ammunition developments. Pilgrim ammunition has developed some pretty spicy .380 Auto, 9mm+P, and .45 ACP+P ammunition that is not only very high velocity, but also extremely light.
Pilgrim Self-Defense Ammo Now Available for Sale
We designed the Torch™ ammunition line to eliminate threats with one round by delivering the maximum amount of force possible, resulting in optimal tissue damage.
Pilgrim Ammunition leaves traditional ammunition in the dust. Top quality components and proprietary formulas manufactured on state-of-the-art ammunition and CNC machinery result in outstanding consistency, round after round.
Torch™ ammunition penetrates barriers, but when it hits a soft target, the bullet explodes into a starburst pattern transferring 100% of its energy, creating devasting trauma and multiple wound channels and greatly reducing over-penetration.
9mm
2,000 feet per second, Zero over-penetration to date, and 30% less recoil makes the Torch™ the ideal round for people who prioritize effectiveness, safety, and stability.
.380 Auto
1,500 feet per second, Zero over-penetration to date, and 30% less recoil makes the Torch™ the ideal round for people who prioritize effectiveness, safety, and stability.
.45 ACP
1,900 feet per second, Zero over-penetration to date, and 50% less recoil makes the Torch™ the ideal round for people who prioritize effectiveness, safety, and stability.
Pilgrim ammunition claims to have superior features when compared to some of the top brands of self-defense ammunition like 50% less felt recoil, reduced over-penetration, and more stopping power. The ammunition is on sale directly from the Pilgrim Ammunition website and currently comes in 20-round boxes. The .380 Auto is $34.95 per box, 9mm +P is also $34.95 per box, and .45 ACP+P is $39.95 per box.
This ammunition reminds me a lot of the very similar Liberty Civil Defense ammunition which also features a solid copper hollow point, high velocity, and has noticeably less recoil when compared to other self-defense loadings. One of the greatest benefits of this type of ammo in my opinion is the reduction in weight especially if you’re carrying around a spare magazine.
