EAA/Akkar Churchill 620 and 220 Optics-Ready Shotguns

EAA/Akkar is proud to introduce their freshly updated Churchill Tactical line with the 620 and 220 optics-ready shotguns. These new shotguns include smart improvements that make them more suitable for home defense use. Many people are more familiar with shotguns as opposed to AR’s or small pistols and these new shotguns should provide these people with a new level of accuracy and useability within the environment of their own home.

We took our pouplar Churchill 20ga Pump-Action shotgun and reconfigured it for Tactical Hom Defense. We machined the Optics Rail into the receiver for easy target acqusition and included Red Dot optics, we semi-enhanced the loading port, we added a pistol grip stock, a breaching choske tube and shorten the barrel to 18.5″, we also included accessible controls to give you the Churchill 20ga Tactical series (Home Defense without the Kick)

The semi-automatic 220 Optic Tactical Shotgun and the 620 Optics Tactical Pump-Action shotgun feature a checkered pistol grip stock, a semi-enhanced loading port for fast reloads, Breacher style choke tube and easily accessible controls for confidence under a stressful situation.

While I’d still prefer an SBR AR-15 for home defense, shotguns do provide you with a lot of power in a familiar platform for those that want the option. The addition of an optics-ready red dot rail I think is a smart modification although I am not 100% certain what type or style of red dot this optic is. The designers also made it easy for you to remove and re-attach the red dot with the inclusion of a QD lever for the optic mount. I suppose if you really wanted to you could take this shotgun out to the trap range to get in some practice with it.
