We have some high resolution photos to share with all our readers of the recently available Standard Manufacturing Single Action Revolver in .45 Long Colt with case hardening. The 2 revolvers shown features 4.75″ and 5.5″ barrels. They are absolutely gorgeous and the quality is arguably even better than Colt. Notice all the screws are pointed in one direction, that’s attention to detail.
Story has it that Standard Manufacturing hired ex-Colt employees from their revolver department in order to create these beauties. With Colt, you’re also dealing with years of wait time if you want a SAA and these are in stock and ready to ship now. Price starts at $1895.00.
UPDATE: These master gunsmiths started working at Colt custom shop in the 1960s. They left Colt and were hired by Standard to create the SAA you see here. They have over 200 years of combined experience on putting quality guns together.
