Firing Winchester Dual Bond Deer Slugs

At the 2018 SHOT Show Range Day, I made my way to Winchester’s rifle and shotgun range. While there, I fired several rounds of their Dual Bond “bonded dual jacket sabot slugs” through a 12 gauge slug gun with a rifled barrel. I realize this ammo isn’t new, but still, the results were notable.

Accuracy was good, as was ammo quality.

This ammo would be one of my first choices if I were to hunt deer with slugs. It was certainly accurate enough, and 375 grains will hit mighty hard. A double-jacketed hollow point bullet is bound to do plenty of damage.
