Here we see good ol’ Larry Potterfield demonstrating how to fix up natural imperfections in a wooden rifle stock. You know–those little knots, splits, or cracks that can mess up the looks and lines of an otherwise fine stock.

He uses shellac, a toothpick, a stiff toothbrush-type brush, and a lamp with a hot bulb.
