USA Today: AR-15 Chainsaw Bayonet
Kevin Felts 11.09.17
USA Today put together a short video describing the AR-15 and some modifications the rifle can have. The typical add-ons were listed, such as drum magazine and six position stock. Then some not so typical add-ons were listed, such as a shotgun mounted under the barrel and a chainsaw.
Since I was a young man in the 1980s and watched the movie Predator, I knew about the shotgun modification. In the late 1980s and early 1990s there were some mounting brackets being sold that allowed an AR-15 to have a shotgun mounted to it. However, I have not seen those brackets in decades.
Then the animation from USA Today said the AR-15 can have a chainsaw bayonet.
There are two things I want to know:
- Where do I send my money?
- Does the mounting bracket accept Stihl, Husqvarna, or both?
Of course the internet has gone wild.
Here are some AR-15 attachments USA Today did not mention:
The blame thrower would be popular with democrats when they refuse to accept responsibility for their actions.
I have to admit, having an aircraft carrier mounted to the AR-15 would be pretty awesome. Rather than the effective range being a few hundred meters, now you can hit targets hundreds of miles away.
If anyone knows where the chainsaw attachment is being sold, please post a link in the comments section.
Special thank you to Liberty Review for having the images on their Facebook page.
