Watch: Hickok45 and the Beretta APX
Kevin Felts 05.03.17
In this video Hickok45 takes a look at the Beretta APX, and in classic Hickok45 style.
The APX is the first striker-fired handgun from Beretta. Beretta may be late to the striker-fired party, but their first offering seems to be making a good first impression.
Specifications
- Three dot sights.
- Aggressive full length slide serrations.
- Ambidextrous slide release.
- Interchangeable back straps.

For those of you who are not familiar with Beretta, they are an Italian gun company that was founded in 1526.
In the 1980s the Beretta M9 was adopted as the official military sidearm, replacing the 1911.
The Beretta APX has a modular frame design. This allows the chassis to be removed and placed into a variety of frames. If you want a different colored frame, order it and move the chassis to the new frame.
The modular design was a requirement for the recent military trials for a new handgun.
