Watch: Swiss Müller 1895 7.5mm Curved-Recoil Pistol

Another interesting old gun, this apparently experimental pistol by D. Müller of Zurich, Switzerland is pretty impressive. The bolt is curved, and when a round is fired, it rotates back into the grip of the gun, cocking the hammer and allowing a round to feed from the magazine–if the magazine guts were in place, which they are not.

The hammer–and most everything else, for that matter–is pretty massive on this 1895 popper, which seems to be chambered for 7.5mm ammo.

It’s definitely a solidly-built old piece, and the way the bolt works is sort of intriguing.
