East Cape Boats’ new SKANU is now available for purchase. This is a super portable shallow watercraft that has been Co-designed with legendary angler Flip Pallot. Originally announced at ICAST last year, the East Cape SKANU is made of high-tech carbon laminate construction to be strong and durable while still being incredibly lightweight, coming in under 50 pounds. Besides being easily transportable, the SKANU is loaded with features for a better shallow-water fishing experience. Such as being capable of mounting a trolling on the front or transom with a backing plate, as well as rod grooves built into the benches, and the deck is lined with closed-cell foam for better flotation.

Even while being a smaller craft coming in at 12’8″ long and 41″ wide the SKANU is capable of holding two anglers and still has plenty of cargo capacity for gear and tackle.
