AllOutdoor Review: Benchmade Mini Osborne – Burnt Copper Aluminum
Patrik Orcutt 08.28.24
Benchmade Knife Company, founded in 1988 by Les de Asis in Oregon City, Oregon, quickly established itself as a premier manufacturer of high-quality knives. The company initially gained recognition for its butterfly, or balisong, knives, which were a significant departure from the traditional folding knives available at the time. Over the years, Benchmade expanded its product line to include a wide variety of knives, including tactical, hunting, and everyday carry knives, known for their precision engineering, innovative designs, and use of high-grade materials. The company pioneered the use of CNC machining and advanced materials like stainless steel and G10, setting new standards in the knife industry. Today, Benchmade is renowned for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship, maintaining a strong presence in both the civilian and military markets. The focus of this review will be on the new Mini Osborne / Burnt Copper Aluminum folding knife.
This Mini Osborne was provided by Benchmade and while I am allowed to keep these knives indefinitely, it will not change my current or future opinion on any Benchmade Products. Benchmade has not been allowed to preview this review prior to publishing. I have been using this particular life for not that long, only about a month at this point but I have owned two other variations of the 940 series so I have a lot of time with the bigger brother of this blade.
