[NRAAM 2024] The Griffin Armament A2S-QD – A2 Mounting Suppressor

Griffin Armament has brought a cool new suppressor to NRAAM 2024, the new A2S-QD is a 5.56 caliber suppressor designed and optimized with the M4 carbine in mind. The suppressor sports the new ratcheting GATE-LOK, which can quickly and securely attach to a standard A2 birdcage flash hider. So you can keep your M16A2/3/4 and M4/A clones stock and still attach a suppressor without modifications. The GATE-LOK mount automatically stops on the A2 birdcage when you attach the suppressor then is secured and locked on by tightening the ratchet/detent. Beyond the cool new QD mechanism, the A2S-QD features ECO-FLOW internal baffles that help with gas management. They encourage gas flow through to reduce back pressure and gas in the face when shooting. The baffles have also been tuned to reduce muzzle flash and provide ample bore clearance for the bullets even when attached to an A2 birdcage that’s mounted with crush washers. The dimensions of the A2S-QD are 7” long with a 1.5” diameter. It weighs in at 19.4oz and is made from 17-4 H900 heat-treated stainless steel. It is 5.56 NATO full auto rated and can be shot with barrels down to 7.5″ in length. These will be available Summer 2024 and have an MSRP of $945.
