Abu Garcia’s NEW Zenon LTX BFS Reel and BFS Rods

The fine folks over at Abu Garcia are joining in with other manufacturers on the recent new fishing technique of Bait Finesse. To ensure that anglers have a rod and reel solution for every one of their needs, Abu Garcia is introducing the Zenon Bait Finesse System (BFS) line of fishing tackle. This line of tackle includes the all new Zenon BFS spinning and casting rods, as well as the Zenon BFS casting reel to pair with the casting rods. That way anglers can better utilize bait finesse style baits with their Abu Garcia equipment.

Originating from the highly pressured bass waters of Japan, bait finesse is a specialized technique to make small baits do big numbers. Where anglers must have very tight control on these small very natural-looking lures and baits that are often ⅛-ounce or lighter. To be able to do that or even cast these smaller lures anglers need the right tools set up for just that, so Abu Garcia’s new Zenon BFS reels are built just to do that. MSRP for the reel is $549.95 and the reel is available in two gear ratio options.
Additionally, Abu Garcia has brought out three models of the BFS rods to go with the reels. All three of them feature premium carbon blanks impregnated with the exclusive Powerlux 100 resin system. This lets the rods be ultra-light and sensitive, but still capable of putting the heat on fish. These rods also feature a custom-designed reel seat that delivers hypersensitivity around the exposed blank sections and improve comfort for full days of fishing. MSRP for the rods starts at $449.95 and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
