They have brought out the new 580 Gold lens, the first color-enhancing all-polarized glass sunglass lens. This is a new rose-based lens that delivers unrivaled clarity with added scratch resistance on the water. The 580 Gold has been designed with a lighter Visible Light Transmission (VLT) to offer enhanced versatility across a broad spectrum of lighting conditions. That way they can offer clarity on the water be it on a bright sunny day, or a cloudy overcast day. The rose base increases the angler’s field and vision and is easy on the eyes. While the multi-layered gold mirroring amplifies the performance features of the base while still giving wearers plenty of aesthetic appeal. The 580 Gold will be available in at least 20 styles in Costa’s three frame categories, PRO, hybrid, and lifestyle. The initial release of these lenses will include Reefton PRO, Spearo XL, Lido, Loreto, and the best-selling Sullivan from the Del Mar Collection.
