Colossal Line Capacity with the Daiwa Lexa HD 500

Daiwa has listened to the saltwater and muskie anglers and brought out the new Lexa HD 500 with a colossal line capacity. This is in response to the anglers having had issues with the 400 size Lexa reels not having enough line capacity, or just not big enough for the task. The five new Lexa HD 500 models all have an additional 25% line capacity over the Lexa HD 400 reels and up to an additional 20% boost in max drag capacity for the reels. Like the previous models, the 500s have a reel frame and side plates made from machined aluminum, keeping the new stronger stainless steel gearing precisely in alignment. This reel is built to handle the biggest muskies and even pelagic species like tuna and mahi. Great for either slinging big baits or big lures the reel comes with the proven Daiwa MAGFORCE cast control system so anglers can fine-tune the spool tension and castability easily on the water.
