The Milha Lite Skiff – A Rotomolded Boat from Brazil
Eugene L. 02.19.24
TBNation has brought out a new interesting boat offering to the NOEoutdoors Fishing Expo this weekend with the Milha Lite Skiff. This is a fully rotomolded boat made by Milha Nautica down in Brazil, while super popular down there it is just making its way up into the States through Tiny Boat Nation. The Lite Skiff is kinda like the bastard child of a bass boat and a fishing kayak, being completely rotomolded but having a great flat deck to fish off of. The rotomolded plastic construction makes for a super durable hull that has an aluminum transom capable of handling up to a 6hp outboard. It is also a very portable skiff that can easily be thrown into the back of a truck or a roof rack weighing only 175 lbs. The lite skiff comes with 4 hatched storage areas with 3 having channels to keep water out. The boat is also fully self-bailing with scupper holes on the side, so no worries about having to maintain a bilge pump. Additionally the skiff also comes with 5 T-tracks built in for mounting accessories and electronics as well as vertical rod holders molded into the deck of the skiff. The Milha Lite Skiff comes in at 12 foot 8 inches long, with a beam of 42 inches. MSRP for the skiff comes in at $3499. Every one of these skiffs are US Coast Guard-rated and have USCG-regulation foam floating in the hull.
