Grundéns is proud to introduce a new lineup of foul weather products for 2024 with the extreme demands of commercial fishermen in mind. Even with nearly 100 years of experience in keeping commercial fishermen dry in the harshest conditions, Grundéns still pushed forward to create better gear for commercial fishermen. For 2024 they have several new products in the works, starting off with the new Crewman Tall Boot. These new boots have been engineered and developed in partnership with an industry leader in rubber chemistry and tread design Michelin. The Crewman Tall boot combines modern looks and aesthetics with a complete focus on traction and on-deck performance. The rubber outsole is backed by Michilin to stand up to the rigors of a commercial boat deck, this is combined with a poured PU midsole for comfort and a 100% waterproof rubber upper boot. They will be available at retail partners in February 2024, with an MSRP of $179.99.

Next up is the FishPicking Collection, built specifically for the “FishPickers” of the Bristol Bay gillnet fishery. All these pieces were designed to stand up to the tough conditions of commercial salmon fishing in the Pacific Northwest. The collection is made up of an Anorak, a Jacket, and a 1/2 Zip shirt. All these pieces perfectly blend a modern woven upper with strategically placed PVC overlay reinforcements for increased water and abrasion resistance. The FishPicking Collection features a DWR finish to repel liquids and stains and has 3mm neoprene cuffs to stop water from entering the sleeves. Lastly are some new additions to the best-selling family of Neptune waterproof outerwear products. Building upon the model of performance with rugged reinforcement, the Neptune Armored Jacket and Bibs provide 100% waterproof & stain repelling performance all the while boosting increased durability in the strategically placed “armored” areas. The Neptune Armored jackets come with a fully gusseted water-draining neck zipper, neoprene cuffs, and internally routed cords for the hood adjustment. The armored bibs are built with interior knee pad pockets, a removable suspender system, and 1000d nylon reinforced cuff hems. These should be available at retail partners in August 2024.
