Danner Special Edition Footwear to celebrate 90 Years of Bootmaking

Danner’s journey began with the establishment of the Danner Shoe Mfg. Company by Charles Danner in 1932. His vision was to craft boots of exceptional quality that were both long-lasting and reasonably priced. Initially headquartered in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, a bustling logging town at the time, Charles later caught wind of the flourishing timber industry in the Pacific Northwest. In response, he relocated his operations to Portland, Oregon, in 1936. Danner swiftly rose to prominence as a leading manufacturer of spiked-soled logging boots in the region, fetching a substantial price of $20 per pair. Over 90 years later and Danner has launched a few special editions of some of their longest running pairs of boots. Here are some of the highlights of the release. Next in line in the Westslope boot, aptly named after the Westslope Cutthroat, a native western trout. Its design showcases nylon and full-grain leather uppers adorned with perforations for enhanced breathability.
