In something that can only be described as out of Star Wars, old school Star Trek, or even John Wick’s next 21st century tech item, Vortex Optics has announced their NEW Impact 4000 Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder. That is a mouthful, but rightly so. It could replace multiple items within your arsenal with this one product, but it is not replacing or discontinuing any items from Vortex Optics’ portfolio. This is yet again another unique and inspiring offering from Vortex.

As its long name implies, this is a laser rangefinder (LRF) that can be rail mounted on top of your rifle (or anywhere you have some free rail “real estate”) that can accomplish A LOT of tasks for you. It could very well be the most sophisticated tech item you bring with you shooting – even more smart than your smartphone. Now, hold your breathe… the Vortex Optics Impact 4000 Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder has an MSRP of $1,999. That is admittedly expensive for 1 item, but this 1 item can likely replace 3 – 5 others you were looking to purchase (or already own) exceeding a total of $2K in value. So, if you are a serious shooter, would you buy this new gem? As always, let us know all of your thoughts in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
