The Springfield Armory Hellion came onto the market early last year and immediately cemented itself as King of the Bullpups in the US. Deploying the original Croatian VHS-2 design, but adapting some popular American features like M-LOK and Magpul magazines, it was an immediate hit among shooters. Now, the Springfield Armory Hellion is receiving a boost in length with new 18″ and 20″ models being debuted.

If you love your Springfield Armory Hellion, but wished it had a longer barrel for a tiny bit more ballistic performance, you are in luck. With the extended 18″ and 20″ barrel (with a bayonet lug), you can take a compact rifle design and stretch it out further than ever before. Everything else about the original Springfield Armory Hellion design remains intact. You simply now have longer barrel options for improved downrange performance.

Based on the internationally proven bullpup employed by the Croatian armed forces in demanding environments ranging from Iraq to Africa and beyond, the Springfield Armory Hellion offers American shooters a semi-automatic version of this highly capable and fully ambidextrous firearm.
These new longer barrel options might not seem like a huge difference to some shooters, but often times it is the little details that can make all the difference. You still have QD cups for accessories, M-LOK channels, ergonomic controls, the same manual of arms, and the proven design that has been on the market in the US for over a year now.
