[ICAST 2023] Best New Eyewear – Costa King Tide

Celebrating 40 years of sunglass innovation Costa, the first manufacturer of color-enhancing all-polarized glass sunglass lenses, has brought out its most advanced sunglass frame to date with the King Tide. Winner of the Best Eyeglass of the New Product Showcase at ICAST 2023. The name is in reference to the exceptionally high tide that only occurs when there is perfect alignment between the Earth and Moon, the Costa King Tides are meant to give you an exceptional advantage on the water. Using the past 40 years of research and innovation of lenses and frames, the King Tides are built for anglers who demand premium performance both on and off the water.

The King Tide comes in two frames, a medium wrap King Tide 6 and a full wrap King Tide 8. Both of them come with several features. Removable side shields for easy adjustment from on-the-water use to off-the-water use. Venting inspired by sharks to make a near-impossible zero-fog effect on the glasses, as well as non-skid hooding to keep the sunglasses from sliding even when the water gets rough. Both frames of the King Tides will be available online on September 15th of this year with an MSRP of $329.
