$200 Break-Action Pistol?! NEW Rossi Brawler .410 Gauge / .45 Long Colt

Rossi has been making waves this year with the introduction of new revolvers at SHOT Show 2023 that stunned and impressed a lot of shooters. Next, they debuted the R95 .30-30 Win lever-action which looks gorgeous and is compatible with aftermarket accessories if you want to modernize it. Now, they have announced something completely new in a break-action, single-shot pistol called the Rossi Brawler chambered in 3″ .410 Gauge and .45 Long Colt.

If you think a break-action, single-shot pistol is a bit unpractical, think again. For people who need to dispatch varmints, snakes, or other critters on a daily basis, this appears to be an extremely affordable option at an MSRP of $239.99. It will boast an optics rail to put whatever red dot or scope on it you desire and it even has iron sights if you want to go sans optics. All of the specifications for the Rossi Brawler can be read below as presented by Rossi USA:

  • Cartridge: .45 Long Colt / .410 Gauge Magnum (3″ shells or 2 1/2″)
  • Capacity: 1 Round
  • Sights: Fixed Front with Serrated Rear

  • Barrel: 9″ Alloy Steel w/ Matte Black Finish & 6-Groove 1 in 24″ Right-Hand Twist
  • Overall Length: 14″

For when you only need one shot, there’s the Rossi Brawler. You can throw down on anything from rattlesnakes to medium-sized game thanks to the Brawler’s ability to fire either 45 Colt or a 410 shotshell. Plus, with the integrated picatinny rail, you’re also not stuck using one grain weight ammo. You can attach any optic of your choice to the Brawler and zero your point of impact exactly.

This is your next adventure gun. A simple break-action and cross bolt safety give you the same ruggedness as a flint axe. The Brawler’s trigger is another point of simplicity – a single action trigger. Cock the hammer, fire the shot, reload. No messing around with the Brawler. The rubbergrip cushions your hand against 410 shotshell recoil from the mildist birdshot up to serious 3 inch 410 bore magnum ammo.

Throw down with the Brawler today, and you’ll be prepared for anything the woods can throw at you.

While a break-action, single-shot pistol was never on my radar this year for gun purchases, it just might be now. With preliminary pistols showing up on the internet for sale around ~$200, this looks like a hell of a bargain for simply having fun or carrying it in the outdoors. What do you think though? Would you buy one? As always, let us know all of your thoughts in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
