Condition1 Gun/Gear Cases: Hard-Shell Protection, Unusual Value

Condition1 is the brand name of a new gun case company based in Texas. While they’re new, their product lineup is quite extensive for most anyone looking for hard case-protection for guns, optical equipment, or other sensitive gear.

Condition1
                                                             Condition1 22″ case with lid organizer, $229.99

These hard cases are lockable and feature a patented pushbutton latch system. Every case in the five-product line series is stackable with other in the series. Each is available either empty, with a pluckable foam liner to customize it for a specific gun, camera, etc., or in some instances, i.e. their 3-gun, and AR15 cases and some others, the foam features pre-cut standard slots for an AR, match shotgun, and pistol, plus magazines. Some models include a built-in organizer with zippered pouches on the lid interior. Generously sized, rubberized handles make for comfortable carry by hand. Optional or extra foam liners are offered in the event a case is used for more than one unique gear footprint.

Condition1
The 55-inch Three-Gun Case sells for $299.99.

Toughness is integral to these cases, which are made of CN-1 resin, including the latches. They’re IP67-rated to be water- and dust-proof. Wheeled models are made to go beyond the airport, with heavy duty, rubberized wheels that enhance stability and reduce vibration. Steel pins are used for the lid hinges.

Condition1
The wheeled 38-inch Sportsman Trunk retails for $74.99.

Condition1 cases include a TSA-approved automatic air valve that keeps interior air pressure normalized to prevent issues caused by atmospheric pressure changes that occur during high-altitude flights. This is the one component that is outsourced in Condition1 cases; developers chose the best available valve producer for this application. Thanks to airtight, watertight construction, gear inside a Condition1 case isn’t affected by whatever is going on outside. Company rep Mark Weisbruch says, “we know how important it is that the valve not malfunction in transit. It costs us a little extra, but it’s one of the reasons we’re able to offer lifetime warranties for our products.” Domestic production by Royal Case Company near Dallas is one reason Condition1 cases can be made to high standards while keeping costs, and therefore retail prices, reasonable.

Condition1
                                                                                            Condition1 11-inch pistol case, $55.99

Even with all these features, let’s be real; there are more exciting topics around competing, training, and hunting with firearms than luggage. In what will surely be a winning factor for many consumers, Condition1 offers their cases at a significantly lower price point when compared to others on the market. If you’re flying with firearms, cameras or other precision gear, or simply want to transport your goods across town with complete and custom protection, check them out.
