The Savage name is often mentioned when discussing low-cost, high-quality brands. Under the Stevens brand, two new firearms have been introduced that strike exactly that balance. These are the new 560 Field Shotgun and 334 Rifles From Savage, all with price tags under $500.

The Stevens 560 Field Shotgun
The Stevens 560 Field Shotgun is a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun. The stock and forearm are Turkish Walnut. The barrel is available in 26″ or 28″ and features a raised ventilated rib. At the end of that rib is a high-visibility fiber optic front sight.

The Stevens 334 Rifle
The Stevens 334 rifle is available for under $500 with a Walnut stock and for under $400 with a synthetic stock. The bolt handle requires only a 60-degree throw, making certain it will clear your scope. Both versions come equipped with a Picatinny optics rail for easy scope mounting. It feeds from a detachable box magazine and has a three-position safety.
