2023 CFMoto ZForce 800 Trail
ZForce is CFMoto’s sport recreation series of SxS, leaning more on the fun of the outdoors than the practical aspects of a more utility focused machine. Trail is a market designation for a more narrow machine, typically in the 50in wide category, perfect for people that have access to width restricted trails or who enjoy going where wider machines simply cannot fit.
This 800 Trail is the first machine released with CFMoto’s next generation updates including updated styling, interior improvements, and performance upgrades compared to the previous generation trail models.

The CVTech clutches that CFMoto includes with their machines are fantastic, easily tuned and reliable. What did come as a surprise to me with this launch is the change to Delphi EFI as CFMoto has been using Bosch EFI for several years. This is not an issue as Delphi is a recognizable company that makes excellent products but does raise the question, why the change? Possibly due to supply chain issues with Bosch or maybe due to a better OEM price, I have not been able to get a clear answer.
Compared to my 2021 CFMoto ZForce 950 Sport, I do appreciate the styling updates with this next generation ZForce. The main body of the machine has overall better lines and a nicer look that should not be as divisive in the US market. CFMoto has already posted teasers on their social media of the next generation 950 Sport that appears to have the same updates as this 800 Trail.
Expect additional information to release on the new 800 Trail as we get closer to them appearing at a dealership near you.
