NEW Colt CBX Precision Rifle System: Colt Offers Bolt-Action Rifles Again
Adam Scepaniak 01.10.23
For the mild historians among us (or those who can remember back to roughly 1 decade ago), Colt used to produce some bolt-action rifles for a short period, but eventually discontinued them for unknown reasons. That model of rifle – the M2012 – was a great shooting rifle throughout its short lifespan. Now, Colt is proud to announce that they are back in the game in regards to bolt-action rifles. They have debuted the Colt CBX Precision Rifle System which is being offered in two of the most popular long-range cartridges of .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor.

With Colt deploying an MDT chassis and some pretty premium components in the build out of this rifle, it looks to have a lot of potential. This rifle was announced in the last couple days and there currently are not any accuracy reports out in the wild by people in the media, but that should be coming soon with SHOT Show right around the corner next week.
