Gamakatsu USA’s NEW 9″ Fishing Pliers – More Comfortable, Versatile

Gamakatsu USA has introduced a new set of 9-inch pliers to their fishing equipment lineup. These pliers are similar to the original popular Gamakatsu USA 6-inch and 7-inch pliers, but along with being just a bit longer also have a 45-degree angle in the grip. This makes using these longer pliers more comfortable for pulling hooks or crimping sleeves. Say goodbye to awkward angles and hello to more organic and ergonomic use from a reliable tool.
Like all the other pliers that Gamakatsu USA offers, these new 9-inch pliers are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, with a PTFE coating for added corrosion and rust protection. This protective plastic coating is sprayed onto the steel and then baked to cure it onto the metal and create a nonstick, waterproof, non-corrosive, and non-reactive surface. The handles on the pliers also feature non-slip grips that will be easy to hold onto even if wet, slimy, or bloody.
The Gamakatsu pliers have precise crimping jaws to fit various sizes of sleeves. When big-game fishing, anglers will appreciate the crimps for hard-to-work-with heavy mono. Anglers will also enjoy the precision split ring feature on the needle nose tool. This feature will cut down the time anglers spend changing or replacing split rings. These pliers also feature a multi-tasking jaw that utilizes an outside cutter to cut braid, mono, or fluorocarbon.
The Gamakatsu pliers come with a lanyard, and a black nylon sheath, that way the pliers are right where you need them and hopefully not on a short trip to the lake or ocean bottom.
