Congress designated May to be National Military Appreciation month in 1999. Since then, this has been a time to celebrate the hard work and sacrifice of those in the United States Armed Forces. Gerber wants to honor those brave men and women, as well. They are now offering a limited run of custom StrongArm fixed blades for Military Appreciation Month.

Gerber Offers Custom StrongArm For Military Appreciation Month
These custom StrongArm knives have a full tang, plain edge 420HC blade. The blades are laser engraved with a limited stars and stripes design, and finished with a ceramic coating. The foliage green handle wears a rubberized diamond grip pattern to make sure it doesn’t slip from your patriotic hands. The grip ends with a pointed striking pommel. The included sheath is made of nylon and features detachable belt loops for horizontal belt carry. It’s also able to accept secondary retention for those who like a drop-leg system. Since the knife celebrates the United States of America, it only makes sense that it’s made in country – specifically in Portland, Oregon. Perhaps the most important detail, Gerber will donate $10 of every sale to Veteran Overland, an Oregon-based 501c3 that helps veterans return to civilian life through participation in outdoor activities.
