Remington Reopens Gun Club and Adds New Sporting Clays Courses

Central and Eastern Arkansas residents and outdoorsmen are probably very familiar with the fact that Remington’s Ammunition plant has been established there right off of Interstate 40 for quite some time. Seasoned trap shooters probably also know that Remington used to have a very popular gun club that was open to the public and was established in 1978. However, over the years Remington has changed hands and divided up on more than one occasion and these pressures led to the decision to close the gun club to the public. Now, Remington is excited to announce that they’ve not only reopened the Gun Club, but they’ve also added a new Sporting Clays course that will be open to the public and will be the home for their inaugural Spring League competition during April and May.

Two new sporting clays in total will be available to visitors to the Gun Club with one 13-station course already completed and being used by patrons and competitors, and the other being a 12-station course that is currently under construction. To celebrate this reopening of the gun club and to test out the new courses, Remington is hosting their first spring Sporting Clays League with divisions for both adults and youth (17 and under) sporting clays shooters. The league will last a total of six weeks and features a 300-target course with weekly cash prices and ammunition prizes being given away to competitors. The Remington spring league is currently underway and will last until May 22nd.

If you’re not in the competitive mood and you’re looking to visit the gun club and sporting clays course, regular customers can take advantage of the gun club’s expert instruction services, purchase Remington brand Premier STS, and Premier Nitro in their pro shop. The gun club and sporting clays course will also be made available for private events like corporate meetings, weekend getaways for groups, and fundraisers.
