Glock 43/43X Match Series Barrels Introduced from Faxon Firearms
Luke Cuenco 05.06.21
Faxon Firearms has built its reputation on making high-quality barrels for all sorts of firearms. I myself have recently purchased one of their pencil profile barrels for one of my newer AR projects and I’ve considered them a number of times for their threaded barrels for some of my handguns. For those of you who like to tinker with your Glock pistols (myself included), Faxon has just introduced their Glock 43/43X Match series barrels.
Glock 43/43X Match Series Barrels Introduced from Faxon Firearms
Faxon’s Match Series pistol barrels for Glock® G43/43X are machined 100% in-house from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel. These barrels are then given a black Nitride or PVD coating to increase lubricity, barrel life, and resistance to surface wear. All barrels are conventionally rifled to allow a wider range of ammunition to be used, including cast lead. The barrels drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Better-than-factory tolerances ensure a consistent, tighter lockup than OEM.
The new Glock 43/43x Barrels will be available in several configurations including:
- Non-Threaded Nitried
- Threaded Nitride
- Non-Threaded TiN PVD
- Threaded TiN PVD
- Non-Threaded Chameleon PVD
- Threaded Chameleon PVD
This year we are making a big push to expand both our pistol barrel and pistol part and accessories lines… keep your eye out soon for another single-stack offering!” – Jay Wilson, Director of Product Management

With a lot of people these days getting into the suppressor market or the competition scene, I could see the threaded barrels coming in handy for those purposes.
