New FAB-Defense RAPS (Rapid Adjustable Precision Stock) Sniper Stock

FAB-Defense is known for developing and manufacturing high-end tactical gear and weapon accessories for Israel’s Military and Police, and for working with worldwide Special Forces and SWAT teams to create no-nonsense products which help them do their jobs. To that end, they have developed the RAPS (Rapid Adjustable Precision Stock) Sniper Stock, which allows users to adjust both length of pull and height of comb using just one latch.
Out of the box, the RAPS is ready to be installed on an AR10 MSR via the adapter on the front of the stock. Two other adapters are included in the box, if you wish to mount the RAPS to an M4 or other AR-style MSR. The RAPS has 4 integrated sling attachment points as well as a short picatinny rail near the toe of the stock (a tight-fitting cover is included for when the rail is not in use).
Thanks to the 1Latch system, a single lever/latch on the right side of the stock allows users to adjust both stock length and cheek rest height, then lock the latch to secure both in place. A screw knob allows you to control how far the butt stock comes out, so once you set your ideal length, you can collapse the stock knowing that next time you deploy it, the butt stock will stop at your preferred length. While the RAPS is designed for real-time adjustments, every shooter has a preferred length of pull. The LOP memory sets a default position, and the stock immediately springs to this length when engaged. This means the shooter is ready without making adjustments at a moment’s notice.
The installation process is simple and easily completed in the home. The design also has an incorporated concealed Picatinny rail for the addition of a monopod. The RAPS is battlefield ready and will sync quickly with capable shooters.“
Speaking of installation, there’s a video on the product page discussing the features of the RAPS and it mentions that the RAPS stock is designed to fit tightly on an AR tube and some users may have to use a mallet to install it. Then, he invites people to call him if they have any questions about installation which sounds like pretty good customer service from FAB-Defense.

The FAB-Defense RAPS is available in 4 colors: black, FDE, OD green, and gray and could make a big difference in comfort and fit (and therefore accuracy) with any MSR. With something like this that can guarantee a great fit, I could see myself hunting big game with an MSR instead of the traditional bolt-action rifles on which I’ve come to rely. And the rapid adjustability makes it easy to fit the stock to someone else in your hunting party.
