Meet the Q ‘Mini FIX’ Bolt Action Pistol in 300 Blackout

In the category of guns you’ve never seen and probably never even thought of, today we find the Q Mini FIX pistol in a short video from SilencerShop. You should check it out on the Q website, but you won’t truly appreciate this thing unless you view the video below. I thought I was about to see yet another AR pistol, but nope! Chambered for 300 Blackout, the Mini FIX is a bolt action pistol with a side-folding arm brace and one heck of a sweet bolt throw of just 45 degrees, which coupled with the short bolt makes it really fast-running. The short receiver and eight-inch barrel make it really compact when folded (17.13 inches per their website).
Q founder, Kevin Brittingham, isn’t interested in making guns like anyone else’s, and the closer you look at their products the more you see that’s true. That said, the Mini FIX will feel familiar in the hands of anyone with AR experience due to the pistol grip and the placement of the selector (safety switch) and mag release. Heck, it even takes M4/AR magazines. The bolt head is replaceable, so you can do some swapping-out of calibers if you wish, and the bolt handle can also be changed.
