Speer Introduces NEW Gold Dot Personal Protection Rifle Ammunition

SPEER is known for having a large inventory of reloading components and ammunition. Just recently they announced the newest addition to their Gold Dot personal protection line of ammunition. The personal protection line previously featured whole hosts of handgun calibers ranging from 22 WMR to 44 Magnum. The newest rifle personal protection ammo adds five options. It is fair to assume that the cartridges available are produced with an AR15 style rifle or similar sized rifle in mind. The brand new personal protection cartridges are common calibers intended for shorter barreled rifles. The cartridges in the new line of rifle ammunition are as follows:

- 308 Win 150 Grain: Bullet Style: Gold Dot Soft Point, Ballistic Coefficient: .414, Package Quantity: 20
All of the ammunition options I listed above should be available on shelves near you soon! At the very least it is available to order from your nearest gunshop or straight off of SPEER’s website. In the SPEER official press release they stated the following:

The bullets loaded in the new Gold Dot Rifle ammunition line are built using Speer’s exclusive Uni-Cor method. The jacket is bonded to the core one atom at a time, virtually eliminating core-jacket separation and creating a projectile that’s accurate, tough and consistent through all common barriers.”
