Check Out This Happy Girl With Her Huge Bass

Sometimes, you just have to find something positive to think about — and with the COVID-19 shutdown dragging on, fishing can be a great way to do that. Especially when you catch a largemouth bass that weighs almost 13 pounds!

This one came in through our Georgia Outdoor News Instagram account. What a bass and what a great photo sent in by Heidi Smallwood, of Douglasville. She was fishing with her husband on March 28 in a private pond when she caught the 12.86-pounder.

A Facebook user posted this photo as a comment, saying, “This is another pic of it. Her husband is my cousin.”

Now that’s one happy gal, and who can blame her? Wow.

I got to go bass fishing yesterday myself. We had a great time and caught fish, but nothing like this one.
