El Paso Residents Choose More Guns in Wake of Walmart Murders

TheBlaze reports that in the wake of a recent mass murder in El Paso — one of several being used by anti-gunners to push even more restrictive gun laws — locals are responding to the tragic crime by getting more guns and more training.

Following the recent mass killing in El Paso, Texas, the general manager of Gun Central — among the largest gun stores in the city — told Reuters the number of people attending his concealed carry classes skyrocketed.

“I have over 50 for this Saturday[‘s] class and approximately the same amount for the Sunday class, and I normally have approximately seven,” Michael McIntyre told the outlet last week.

It’s the natural result of being helpless in the face of a threat; you do whatever you can as quickly as you can in order to cure that problem. At least two of these gun buyers were at the Walmart store on the day of the murders.

“We actually had two people buy guns here who were actually in the Walmart on the day of the [attack],” said McIntyre. “The other people are just saying, ‘Hey, you know I want to be able to protect myself in the event of something going on.'”

More law-abiding citizens with guns equals less crime. If you have any doubts about that, just look at the anti-gun city of Chicago, where murder and mayhem runs rampant and largely ignored by the politicos who wish to steal more of your rights.

There’s a lot of truth to the memes which assert that when the government says you don’t need a gun, you absolutely do — so buy two.
