A Bulletproof… Bandana??

It’s been a while since I posted anything about BulletSafe, the innovative company which makes a variety of bulletproof stuff, including baseball caps, vests, shields, and now a bandana. The company’s claim to fame is making good-quality bulletproof products that are actually affordable.

It’s not exactly what I would call a bandana, but it’s designed to cover your neck and lower face and that’s often how a bandana is worn, so there’s that.

It’s a simple product that might save your life if you’re ever in a situation where someone might just be trying to kill you. Add this to your bulletproof vest and ball cap (or helmet maybe), and you’ve got pretty good coverage of your upper body.

But does it work? BulletSafe CEO Tom Nardone puts it to the test in this video, with a short-range shot from a fifty-cal Desert Eagle.

A bullet hitting the “bandana” would surely jolt and bruise you… but it would be a heck of a lot more survivable than if you weren’t wearing it. You can buy one of these bulletproof bandanas for $129.

Check out the video and let us know what you think.
