FN Herstal Five-seveN Pistol Officially Available in Canada

Our northern neighbors up in Canada has finally received a long waited shipment of FN Five-seveN pistols that are being officially distributed for the first time by the Canadian FN distributor North Sylva.
They were unofficially imported through various grey market dealer previously, just like the PS90 that are still unavailable through official channels.
They are in the most updated, Mk II configuration, which means it has front slide serrations and the controls such as the safety, slide stop, trigger are in black instead of grey.
These pistols are chambered in the controversial 5.7x28mm round that, in the special law-enforcement only ammunition, are designed to penetrate level III body armor. Regular, non-body armor penetrating FMJ “sporting” ammunition is available through retailers.
In order to comply with Canadian laws, they are equipped with 10-round magazines.
The FN Five-seveN pistols are retailing at MSRP of CAD$2000, plus applicable taxes. They are only available in limited quantities in black.
Yes, it’s expensive. But how can one resist not to own this iconic pistol? Who doesn’t like Belgian waffles?
