Watch: Super Comanche 45/410
Kevin Felts 11.22.17
There is a guy on YouTube who goes by the name of John Rambo. He posted a tabletop review of a Super Comanche handgun that can fire 45 long colt and 410 shotgun shells. I was rather intrigued by the handgun and told him if he did another review I would use the video in an article, so here it is.
If there is one thing I have always been intrigued by, it is a handgun that can fire both metallic cartridges and shotgun shells. Some people may view them as a novelty, but I see them as an ideal tool for working around the farm. From time to time I run into a copperhead or a cottonmouth, which are common here in Southeast Texas. The snakes are quickly taken care of by whatever is the flavor of the day. Sometimes it is a handgun, sometimes a 22 rifle, or maybe a shotgun.
Rather than taking either a handgun or shotgun while working around the farm, why not bring both?

Now for the videos.
In the second video, John said the targets were about 25 yards away. The shot spread from the 410 looked okay for 25 yards. Only a couple of pellets of the buckshot hit the target. With a 10 inch barrel, the patterns seemed reasonable.
Would I hunt with the Super Comanche? Nope.
Would I use it for snakes or varmints in the chicken house? Sure I would.
The $200 price range makes it very attractive.
Special thank you to John for making the videos.
