Watch: Filling Extra Holes in a Rifle Barrel (Plus Bluing)

This old rifle had been drilled and tapped for an old scope at some point, and the filler screws were unsightly. After a brief history lesson, Larry Potterfield shows how to professionally prepare and fill the holes. But it goes far beyond that, right through filing down the welds, restoring the old caliber stamping, and even prepping & bluing the entire barrel.

This shows what you can do with plenty of known-how, lots of time, and all the right equipment.

Pretty nice!
