Watch: Rock Island Armory M200
Kevin Felts 06.05.17

The Rock Island Armory M200 is a six shot revolver chambered in 38 special. The handgun is not rated for +P loads. However, in the video, sootch00 says it is okay to shoot a few +P loads, but not a lot of them.
Rock island Armory is known for their quality and low cost 1911 handguns. The M200 has a retail price of less than $300, which makes it ideal for a backpacking, truck or boat gun.

For less than $300, this is the type of handgun I would not mind getting scratched up. Not really something I would show off at the gun range, but would definitely take on a hiking or camping trip.
This would probably make a good training handgun. The reduced recoil of the 38 special is easier to handle than larger calibers.
Even though I like how the M200 presents itself, I have to ask why the M200 is in 38 special instead of 357 magnum? With 357 magnum you can shoot 38 special, but not 357 in a 38 special revolver. Why not make the M200 in 357 magnum and give people the option to shoot both calibers?
When I am working around the farm, I like to have a firearm for snakes. The M200 looks ideal for that type of work gun.
Special thank you to sootch00v for making another great video.
