Watch: Fun Stuff to do With Cannon Fuse

Hey, not everything cool is practical, right? Sometimes it’s just SUPER AWESOME!!

This is one of those times.

This video shows some fun things you can do with green fuse–you know, the heavy, green, rope-like fuse material that the REAL fireworks use, which I saw as a kid for sale as “cannon fuse” when I went to gun shops with Dad. Need I say I always wanted to get my hands on some of that stuff and have my own cannon?

Due to modest monetary resources, buying a cannon was out of the question, and since I couldn’t come up with a good reason to buy the fuse, I never pulled the trigger on that. But now I just might have to. After all, how else can you make really cool fireworks with so little effort?

Ready for some pyrotechnic fun with fuses? I thought so. The first one seems like a lot of work, and before it was done I was thinking, “Come on! Who’s going to do all that?” But seconds later, I was giggling uncontrollably as I watched the results.

The second one was rather unexpected, and the last one is pretty impressive for such a simple thing.
