Video: Yeti vs. Orca vs. Ozark Trail Stainless Steel Tumblers

You’re going to want to turn down your sound before you play this video. There’s nothing germane to the video in the music, and it’s pretty obnoxious.
At any rate, here we have a purportedly unbiased test, in which Yeti and Orca high-priced stainless-steel vacuum tumblers are comparison-tested with a fairly cheap Ozark Trail version of the same thing.
First, let me observe that the technology behind these things is nothing new. You have two layers of stainless steel, with the space between them devoid of air. This vacuum is what allows the contents to stay hot or cold for a good long time, and it’s the exact same tech that went into the Stanley vacuum bottle that my late father toted to work full of coffee every day of his working life.
Anyhow, the three tumblers are tested below, with the cheapest one coming out on top. This proves what I’ve known all along: Yeti and Orca products are obscenely overpriced.
