Pro-gun Shirt Triggers Call To Police

Imagine a world where a t-shirt is so offensive the police are called. No, this is not Great Britain, Germany, or Communist China. The event happened right here in the good ‘ole US of A.
What’s worse, the news article is from Texas. In all honesty, I am rather ashamed the glorious name of Texas is even associated with the article.
From The Maven – Woman Calls Police Over Man Wearing Pro-Gun T-Shirt At Park.
The woman told police she was not worried about the gun – which officers noted was located on Johnston’s hip, consistent with the information he provided to Blue Lives Matter.
“She was not scared of the gun,” Cpl. Reese said. “[She] was concerned about his t-shirt.”

“I cannot believe how the media has convinced so many people that guns are scary,” he said. “This lady was having a literal panic attack.”
Opinion
What’s next? People have a panic attack seeing church-goers carrying a bible? Conservative Republican voters reported to the police? Someone buys a steak and they are reported for animal cruelty?
What has society become where people think their feelings warrant a call to the police? Maybe having a “Make America Great Again” bumper stick will get the driver reported to the FBI?
We may think this is an isolated incident, but its not. Culture seems to have reached a point where feelings are more important than rights.
