Where Did This Loooong Gun Come From?

So, here’s a photo that’s been making the rounds on social media of late: a guy in some official-looking uniform holding a revolver with about a three-foot barrel.

Does anyone know the origin of this picture or know anything about the gun? I’d love to learn more about it.

Does it work? What caliber is it? Who made it? What is its country of origin?

One thing’s for sure: if you were to support that hefty barrel with your off hand while shooting this behemoth, you’d regret it. When fired, revolvers leak fire from the front of the cylinder, which is bound to give him an ouchy.

Anybody know if Blackhawk makes a holster for this thing?
