.45-70 Steel –
The recently updated .45-70 Steel features a blued steel receiver fitted with an 18.43″ round barrel and a tubular magazine with a 4-round capacity. Its pistol-grip buttstock and steel-capped forend are crafted of beautiful American walnut and cut with checkering to provide a sure grip. It weighs in at just over 7 pounds and features a soft rubber recoil pad. Semi-buckhorn sights on the rear and a brass bead front sight are installed, but the receiver is also drilled and tapped for a Weaver 63B scope mount.
.45-70 Color Case Hardened –
Nostalgic finish meets modern construction. The Color Case Hardened .45-70 gets its finish from a genuine case-hardening process that is applied to the receiver and forend cap. This model also uses the pistol-grip stock found on the Steel model, but changes out the barrel for a 22” octagonal blued steel barrel. Like all the other .45-70 models, it comes with sling mounts, a tubular magazine with 4-round capacity, and a drilled and tapped receiver for easy scope mounting.
.45-70 Brass –
True to Henry’s iconic aesthetics the brass .45-70 features a polished and hardened brass receiver, buttplate, and forend cap adorned with American Walnut wood furniture, and a 22” octagonal blued steel barrel. This model gets several upgrades out of the box, including swivel mounts for a sling and a large loop lever, which is perfect for cold winters when gloves are a must. The tubular magazine holds 4 rounds and the receiver is also drilled and tapped for a scope mount.
